Idaho has seen a spate of new residents in the last few years, and some of you have probably looked around and scratched your heads at some of the Gem State’s quirkier qualities.

We’re launching a new series, called “Oddly Idaho,” that can give you some context on Idaho’s history and answer the questions that may have been nagging at you since you first started unpacking.

For instance, how did Bogus Basin get its name, and why in the world do you pronounce “Kamiah,” “Kootenai” and “Lava Hot Springs” like that?

Whatever has piqued your interest, we want to help explain it. Enter your topic or question in the form below, along with some basic contact information (in case we need to clarify or want to share our findings with you).
