Kuna woman, 20, dies after car crash on U.S. Highway 95

A 20-year-old woman died at Saint Alphonsus in Boise after being transported from an Aug. 22 single-vehicle car crash on U.S. Highway 95, according to an Idaho State Police press release.

Hailey King, of Kuna, was driving a 1995 Toyota 4-Runner northbound on U.S. Highway 95 at Shoepeg Road between Midvale and Cambridge when she drove off the right shoulder of the roadway, overcorrected into oncoming traffic and overcorrected again. The 4-Runner rolled and came to rest in the northbound lane of travel.

She was transported to Saint Al’s, where she died Friday. She was wearing a seat belt. Next of kin has been notified.

The crash is under investigation by ISP.
