Coroner identifies Meridian motorcyclist who died in Ustick-Locust Grove crash

Officials released the name of the man who died in a motorcycle crash on Monday.

The Ada County Coroner’s Office said 18-year-old Tucker Malloy, of Meridian, was killed after he collided with a box truck.

Malloy was pronounced dead at 7 p.m. Monday at the North Locust Grove and Ustick roads crash scene in Meridian, according to a Tuesday news release from the coroner.

The coroner listed Malloy’s cause of death as traumatic blunt force injuries and the manner of death as an accident.

Idaho State Police said Malloy was going north on his motorcycle on Locust Grove when he collided with a southbound box truck driven by a 34-year-old Caldwell man who was attempting to turn left onto Ustick. The box truck driver was not taken to a hospital.

Idaho State Police and the Meridian Police Department said they are working to determine the “exact cause of the crash.”
