Update: Left eastbound lane on I-84 in Meridian reopens after accident, police say
The far left eastbound lane on Interstate 84 has reopened to traffic in Meridian, according to Idaho State Police dispatch.
The lane was closed on Friday afternoon after police responded to the accident near the Ten Mile Road overpass at 12:34 p.m. on Friday afternoon, according to a tweet. Two lanes were initially closed to traffic, which was soon reduced to one.
It is unclear how many vehicles were involved or whether there are any injuries.
On Thursday afternoon, a man was killed near the same area on I-84 after a vehicle that was stopped on the shoulder was hit by a pickup truck and pushed across all four lanes of traffic.
