Idaho State Police: Boise man killed after rollover crash in Blaine County

A car crash in Blaine County has claimed the life of a Boise man.

Idaho State Police troopers were dispatched at about 5:50 a.m. Friday to a single-vehicle crash along Highway 20 west of Carey, according to a news release from the ISP. Troopers found that one car had crashed near mile post 193.

Investigators later learned that a westbound Ford F-250 pickup went off the right shoulder and rolled. The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was not wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred.

The man — whom police have identified as 63-year-old Boise man Dennis Johnson — died at the scene from his injuries.

The crash was under investigation Friday.
