Idaho mother accused of killing 2-month-old son denied bond reduction, remains in jail

The 26-year-old mother accused of killing her infant son was denied a bond reduction on Friday and remains in custody at the Ada County Jail.

Danielle Radue, of Meridian, has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held on a $1 million bond.

Radue was first arrested after paramedics were called to a home in the 2000 block of North Swainson Avenue because of an unresponsive 2-month-old boy. The EMTs made the decision to alert police, according to Meridian authorities.

The Ada County Coroner’s Office has said the victim, 2-month-old Dawson McKinney, died May 15 at a hospital of closed traumatic head injuries, four days after paramedics responded to the call.

Radue’s next court date is set for July 17.
