Meridian mother rearrested, charged with murder in 2-month-old boy’s death
A Meridian woman was charged with murder Friday night after her infant died from his injuries four days after being hospitalized.
Paramedics had been called to a home Monday in the 2000 block of North Swainson Avenue at about 1 p.m. because of an unresponsive 2-month-old boy, and the EMTs made the decision to alert police, according to Meridian authorities.
The mother, Danielle Radue, 26, was arrested Monday evening by the Meridian Police Department on one count of felony injury to a child. She made bail and was released, according to MPD spokesperson Stephany Galbreaith.
Four days later, at around 6 p.m. Friday, the boy died from his injuries, which were not detailed in a Meridian Police news release.
Hours after the boy’s death, officers executed a warrant and rearrested Radue. She was subsequently charged with one count of felony first-degree murder, according to police.
Radue is being held on $1 million bail at the Ada County Jail.
