The Idaho Statesman has compiled the latest data on Kuna workers’ salaries, including the Mayor’s Office and departments such as Planning and Zoning, Parks and Recreation, and Public Works.

Located southwest of Boise, Kuna is the fourth-largest city in Ada County, with a population of 31,490, according to 2024 data from the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho.

Kuna’s 70 city employees earn an average of $29.25 per hour, according to data provided by the City Clerk’s Office on Nov. 22. The highest-paid official is Jared Empey, the city treasurer, with an annual salary of about $120,000 a year.
