Ada County coroner identifies 20-year-old Meridian woman who died in motorcycle crash

The Ada County Coroner’s Office has identified the woman who was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night in Ada County.

Kirsten Olsen, 20, of Meridian, died from multiple blunt force injuries when she failed to negotiate a curve and overturned her 2024 Yamaha YZFR3 while driving on Idaho Highway 21 near Lucky Peak Dam, just southeast of Boise.

The accident occurred at 8:29 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release from Idaho State Police. Olsen, who was wearing a helmet, died at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.

ISP is still investigating the crash.
