Single-vehicle car crash at Nampa construction site kills 23-year-old man

A man was killed in a car crash Friday night at a construction site at Franklin Boulevard and Birch Lane in Nampa.

According to a press release from the Nampa Police Department, officers responded at approximately 11:15 p.m. The fire department and emergency medical personnel also were called.

First responders said they located a single vehicle whose driver had veered into a construction site and struck large equipment. The driver was a 23-year-old Nampa man who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

Officers are still investigating, the release said.

The identification of the victim is not being released, pending notification of family.
