Only five cats remain in the Idaho Statesman poll to find the cutest cat in the Boise area. Last week, voting opened in the first round of the contest. With 45 cats to choose from, our readers cast nearly 2,000 votes.

The CATidates have been narrowed down to the top five who received the most votes in the poll. Check the poll below to see if your cat made the cut.

How to vote in the finals

Voting is now open for the final round. Using the poll below, pick your favorite of the five finalists. The cat that gets the most votes will be named the winner.

Subscribers can vote as many times as they want. Voting closes at midnight on Wednesday, Nov. 5. We’ll post the results by the end of this week, no later than Friday, Nov. 8, and the winner will be featured in the Idaho Statesman.
