If you want to make a bit of Boise housing market history, now’s your chance.
Two unique East End homes, just a one-mile walk from one another, have recently been put on the market for prices that would break the record for the most expensive home sold in Boise.
146 W. Skylark Drive went on the market last month for $5.45 million, making it the most expensive Boise home currently for sale, while 1403 N. Promontory Road was listed for $4.99 million a week ago. If sold at the listing price, both houses would beat Boise’s current most expensive home, which was sold for $4.98 million in September.
Of course, the owners of both homes could agree to sell for less than the asking price.
“While a home may be listed for $6.5 million, it may not sell for that,” Taylor Gray, spokesperson for Boise Regional Realtors, told the Idaho Statesman. “A seller can list a home at whatever their heart pleases, but it’s truly up to market trends and buyer interest as to what the home will actually sell for.”

Many of the East End’s homes offer great views of downtown Boise, but the view from 146 W. Skylark Drive alone may be worth the $5.45 million price tag.

The four-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom home sits on 5,491 square feet and features a king-size chef’s kitchen, a game room on the bottom floor, and numerous outdoor amenities such as a pool, hot tub, and enclosed kitchen with a full bar.
