Marine deputies from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office recovered a body from Lucky Peak Lake on Wednesday at around noon and said in a tweet that it “tentatively” appeared to be the 16-year-old boy who fell off a jet ski on July 18 and did not resurface.

On Thursday afternoon, the Ada County Coroner’s Office made that official by identifying the deceased as Bobby Sichulailuck, of Boise. In a press release, the coroner still has the cause and manner of death as “pending.”

The body was found in the general area the boy was last seen, Patrick Orr, Ada County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, told the Idaho Statesman on Wednesday. That was a section of the lake near the Barclay Bay ramp.

The teen’s death was one of three suspected drownings at Lucky Peak Lake in the past three weeks. The body of a man who was swimming with friends and went underwater to never resurface still has not been found.
