Looking for some fresh ideas for your Treasure Valley garden?
You can find inspiration, plant picks and more at the Boise Flower & Garden Show in late March.
“The biggest flower and garden show in Idaho is the perfect kick-off to spring with everything you need to make your yard and garden beautiful,” organizers said on the garden show’s website. “After 28 years, we continue to bring you new companies, new products, great ideas and expert advice.”
Visitors can find displays and demonstrations as they shop at a variety of vendors.
Here’s what you can find at the Boise Flower & Garden Show:
When is Boise Flower & Garden Show in 2026? Where?
Now in its 29th year, the 2026 Boise Flower & Garden Show will take place at the Boise Centre, 850 West Front St. in downtown Boise, from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29.
The event will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
What vendors will be at Idaho garden show?
This year, the Idaho Business League has partnered with 132 local vendors.
Booths will be spread across 50,000 square feet of immersive greenery and displays with a variety of offerings.
According to Amanda Cox, operational manager for the Idaho Business League, a “handful” of the local businesses in attendance are new to the showcase.
According to Cox, some of the booths you can find at the Boise Flower & Garden Show include:
- Idaho Nursery & Landscape Association: Coalition of landscaping professionals
- Rocket Texture Stonework: Custom stone engravers
- Rebel Roots Apothecary: Plant importer focused on indoor plants
- Boise Vertical Farms: Nonprofit organization that supports individuals in recovery from substance abuse by growing produce
- Golden Garden Club: The oldest gardening club in Boise
“It’s not just a landscaping event anymore,” Cox told the Idaho Statesman via phone. “We have a lot of new and very different vendors coming in.”
Attendees can learn about growing bonsai and see rare orchids, according to Cox.
Another highlight noted is a flower competition hosted and judged by the Golden Garden Club, which will feature designs and displays by Idaho’s most talented floral experts.
Pat Baker, a spokesperson for the Golden Garden Club, told the Statesman that the floral competition has three divisions: design, botanical arts and horticulture.
According to Baker, winners will be named prior to the flower show. However, garden show attendees can vote for their favorite entries on Friday and Saturday to crown the People’s Choice winners.
“Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just dreaming of upgrading your backyard, this show is packed with inspiration,” Instagram user HelloMeridian said in a collaborative post with Idaho Business League and Zamzows, a Treasure Valley lawn care company.
