WATCH: Boise Mayor Lauren McLean’s State of the City address

Boise Mayor Lauren McLean on Wednesday night gave her first State of the City address since taking office in January.

The annual tradition of the Boise mayor updating citizens on how things are going was — like nearly everything in 2020 — different this year. McLean gave updates and policy proposals in this virtual address on topics including the city’s COVID-19 response, housing affordability, economic opportunity and racial inequity.

The event is put on through a partnership between the city and the Boise Metro Chamber.
