Coroner IDs body found at Camel's Back Park; cause of death still unknown
The Ada County Coroner’s Office has identified a man whose body was found in the parking lot of Camel’s Back Park over the weekend, according to a press release. However, it’s still not clear exactly how the man died.
Michael Edward Lorenz, 49, was found dead in a black pickup truck at the park on Saturday morning. The coroner’s office said an autopsy has been completed and a cause of death will likely be determined in a few weeks pending toxicology results.
Police on Saturday afternoon had said no foul play was suspected in the Mountain Home man’s death. The coroner’s office doubled down on that claim.
Spokeswoman Tonia Fleming said it’s equally likely that Lorenz’s death could have been accidental, natural or possibly self-inflicted.
