Coronavirus: Large-scale Boise garage sale is the latest event to be canceled
An annual large-scale garage sale in Boise has been canceled over coronavirus concerns.
Townsquare Media Boise announced Friday that its event, Idaho’s Largest Garage Sale, will not take place this year. After consulting with Expo Idaho, organizers determined the safest option would be to cancel the event.
The media group consulted with state officials on mass gatherings and considered delaying the event before organizers determined the event should not take place in 2020. It is slated to return in 2021.
“We know Idaho’s Largest Garage Sale is loved by many and will be missed,” said Townsquare Media Boise’s market president Rick Carmean in a news release.
