Is Idaho ready to reopen? Will you venture out more? What worries you? Answer our poll
All signs point to Idaho beginning its four-stage reopening Friday under Gov. Brad Little’s plan.
We want to know what you think of Idaho’s preparedness, whether your behavior will change, what worries you most during the coronavirus pandemic and whether you’ll be ready to eat inside a restaurant by May 16 (stage two).
Idaho has been under a stay-home order for nearly five weeks to slow the spread of the COVID-19 disease.
Answer our poll questions below, and we’ll also include comments from Twitter and Facebook.
I don't know. I have gotten used to having things delivered to me. pic.twitter.com/rIZ47WLJpS

I think some things in Idaho are ready to open. I didn’t go out much to begin with so not much had changed for me in that regard.

My worry is they aren’t encouraging people to stay home who are more at risk. They should be home. Who attends church the most? Our community members who are older.

Idaho has already been open besides being able to go to a bar or sit down at a restaurant or get your hair done. Everyone has been out, still stuck in traffic no one listened anyway.

I am sure the second wave is coming, and it is going to hit harder. Protect yourself and your family.

I don’t know if we should or should not but yes I will venture more if we reopen at stage 1

As much as I want it to be, I don't feel that it is.

Idaho has to reopen *and* people have to continue to be vigilant about health safety. The latter is much more effective if the State provides good data and guidance rather than overzealous lockdowns.

I might venture out a little more, a hair cut would be nice, I really can’t think of where else. I will still only go out to get groceries every two weeks for the most part. Not ready for dine in!

We need, “new rules”, temporary but until a vaccine is available Get back to work but:six feet, masks, wash hands (everywhere), test and track and the vulnerable stay home and we help them to stay alive and bring our industries home so we are never dependent on another country.

My perspective has changed forever. It's one of those generational things that happen and my grandkids will say, "My grandma does not like restaurants, movie theaters, or stadiums. She lived through the 2020 Pandemic." I will still have joy. It will just look different.
