The latest proposed developments, other construction projects and new businesses around the Treasure Valley

Meridian

Toll Brothers applied to annex 119 acres and build 330 houses at the northwest corner of Amity and Linder roads for a subdivision called Cedarbrook. The neighborhood would include a pool, pond and picnic area. The Meridian City Council considered the project on Tuesday, July 7.

Brighton Corp. applied to build the next phase of its Hill’s Century Farm North subdivision on the east side of South Eagle Road, south of East Amity Road. This phase will include 134 houses on 30 acres.

Austin Edwards of the Kinterra Property Group applied to build 67 houses on 13 acres on the south side of West Victory Road, about a quarter-mile west of South Meridian Road. The subdivision would be called Jocelyn Park.

Rock and Armor Fitness applied for a conditional use permit for a 19,162-square-foot gym on 1.8 acres of land at 1703 East Pine Avenue, near the southeast corner of East Pine Avenue and North Locust Grove Road.

Russ Hunemiller of Nampa filed a permit to build an 8,013 square-foot office building at 1887 Overland Road. The building is valued at $412,000, according to the permit.

Eagle

Red Butte LLC applied to build the next phase of its Snoqualmie Falls subdivision, which will include 77 houses.

The subdivision is split across two pieces of land — a 33-acre parcel at the southeast corner of North Palmer Lane and West Floating Feather Road, and a 10-acre parcel on the north side of West Floating Feather Road about 790 feet west of the intersection of North Arena Avenue and West Floating Feather Road.

BrightStar Care seeks to build a 10-bed nursing home on a half-acre site at 4073 West Prickly Pear Drive, near the southwest corner of West Prickly Pear Drive and North Park Lane.

Ben Harris, pastor with the Restored Community Church, requested a development agreement modification to the previously approved plans for a new church at 3633 W. Floating Feather Road. On the 6-acre site, Harris hopes to add a 2,800-square-foot building, in addition to the church, that would be used as a preschool during the week and for children’s church services on Sundays.

Caldwell

Rennison Cos. of Eagle requested to amend the city’s comprehensive plan from industrial to commercial and rezone 24 acres of land at 520 N. 16th Avenue, just south of the freeway. There, the company is proposing to build apartments and future commercial buildings.

Star

Mark Ridley of Ridley’s Family Markets, a grocery company based in Twin Falls, seeks a rezone of a 12-acre property at 145 S. Plummer Way, south of State Street, for a Les Schwab Tire Center and a six-lot commercial subdivision. The Star City Council plans a public hearing on the application at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at the Star City Hall, 10769 W. State St.

Boise

ECCO Safety Group is seeking a permit to build a manufacturing plant with 90,238 square feet at 858 W. McGregor Court. The three-story building would also include space for an office and warehouse space.

Bright Star Property Management is seeking a permit to build two warehouses totaling 49,800 square feet at 6406 W. Gowen Road.

Orchard Partners LLP is seeking a permit to add 24,776 square feet to an existing building at 1299 N. Orchard St. that houses Sunwest Bank and the Idaho Department of Correction.

Ada County

Avimor developers are seeking to expand the neighborhood with Avimor Village Center, which would have 36 residential buildings and three commercial lots. The center would include 16 duplex townhomes, each 1,500-2,000 square feet in size.

The Ada County Planning and Zoning Commission was originally planned to hear a preliminary plat for the development at its July 16 meeting, but the applicant requested the hearing be moved to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, at 200 W. Front St. in Boise.
