Boise

Capital City Development Corp. is seeking a permit to build an urban park at 1100 W. Bannock St. The 30,000-square-foot park, referred to as the Westside Urban Park, will be the second-largest urban park in Idaho. The largest is Cecil D. Andrus Park, located across from the Idaho Statehouse.

Onsite Services LLC is seeking a permit to operate a call center at 10433 W. Emerald St., Suite 100.

City of Boise

Boise’s Parks and Recreation Department is working to build a “farm-to-table” park concept, focused on agriculture. Crews are working to develop Spaulding Ranch, located at 3805 N. Cole Road, into a community gathering space with pollinator gardens, pathways, play areas, outdoor classrooms picnic shelters and more.

The master plan for the project also shows space for an orchard, a wildflower meadow and a small animal farm. Crews are working on methods for weed control to reduce the use of pesticides, and an irrigation system will be constructed.

Energize Our Neighborhoods is working with the Parks department’s forestry staff to coordinate a volunteer event this fall to plant the first 100 trees at the orchard.

The Boise City Council approved a preliminary plat for 36 single-family houses on 4 acres at 10983 and 11077 W. Overland Road at its June 16 meeting. Each house will be 900 square feet and alley-loaded.

Schultz Development applied to build a 54-acre subdivision on land owned by Corey Barton just north of Interstate 84 midway between Linder and Meridian roads. The subdivision, Tanner Creek, would include 83 detached single-family houses, 45 townhouses and 272 apartments.

Crews are working on a new bridge into the Golda Harris Nature Preserve, located at 2851 E. Warm Springs Ave. Construction began June 1 and is expected to last three months.

Teams are also working on Greenbelt path replacement and an interior path to a new overlook structure. As a result, a Greenbelt detour takes users along East Parkcenter Boulevard until construction is completed.

Planned amenities include pathways, seating, public art and wildlife viewing areas.

Concierge Legacy Advisors is seeking a permit to build a laundromat at 10390 W. State St., near Jennie Lane. A residence currently occupies the site. The laundry would have 5,100 square feet.

Concierge Legacy Advisors is seeking to build a second laundry, at 2603 W. Canal St., at Vista Avenue. This laundry would have 3,481 square feet and would offer self-serve and full service.

Meridian

Clarivate, a data and analytics company focused on patent and brand protection, plans to open an office at 2150 S. Bonito Way, Suite 150, west of Eagle Road and south of Overland Road. The company’s subsidiary, MarkMonitor, has offices at 3540 E. Longwing Lane, at the Village at Meridian.

Arthur Berry of Boise requested to build a 13-acre commercial development called Midgrove Plaza at 1450 E. Franklin Road.

Schultz Development of Meridian applied to annex 5 acres of land to build 43 townhouses on the north side of West Franklin Road, midway between North Black Cat Road and North Ten Mile Road. The subdivision, Ascent, would include a playground.

Facible Biodiagnostics plans to open a 5,296-square-foot office at 1820 Silverstone Way, the same building where the Amazon subsidiary PillPack plans to open a new call center. The tenant improvements to build the bio-diagnostic lab and offices are proposed to cost $65,000, according to a permit filed with the city. The company is currently located out of 366 SW 5th Ave. in Meridian, at the southwest corner of Franklin and Meridian roads.

Nampa

Rennison Design of Eagle applied to annex and rezone a 26-acre parcel owned by The Pacific Cos. south of Cherry Lane, east of Middleton Road and north of Interstate 84. The developer hopes to build a Nampa campus for the Eagle Christian Church on the western side of the property. The rest of the development will include commercial properties.

The Housing Co., the development arm of the Idaho Housing and Finance Association, wants a conditional use permit to build an 81-unit apartment complex called Canyon Terrace on a 4-acre parcel at 1010 N. 39th St., north of Garrity Boulevard and south of I-84 near the Saint Alphonsus Medical Center.

Derek Cooper of 1st Street Property LLC asked for a conditional use permit to build a bar in the basement of 1215 1st St. South, the current location of 2C Family Brewing.

Kuna

Mason & Associates, Inc. requested a rezone from agricultural land to commercial to allow for a 17-acre subdivision called Monarch Landing at the southwest corner of Linder and Hubbard roads. The site would include a 5-acre self-storage facility, a medical and dental office building, a gas station and a fast-food restaurant.
