Fourth fresh-soup restaurant coming to Treasure Valley
Café Zupas recently brought its fresh-soup concept to Nampa when it opened a few weeks ago at 1709 Nampa-Caldwell Blvd.
It’s the fourth Café Zupas location in the Treasure Valley. The other three restaurants are at 600 N. Milwaukee St., Boise, 133 Broadway Ave., Boise and 2148 N. Eagle Road, at the Village at Meridian.
The Utah-based restaurant chain, which has around 30 stores, prides itself on making its soups, salad dressings and sandwich spreads from scratch. Most of the restaurants are in Utah, but the company has recently branched out into neighboring states such as Nevada, Arizona and Idaho.
The menu focuses on entrée-size salads, sandwiches and a large array of soups, including tomato-basil with orzo, creamy cauliflower with cheddar, New England-style clam chowder, wild mushroom bisque and roasted veggie with quinoa.
Café Zupas is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
