‘Ecstatic’ to join Boise’s food hall, vendor now plans exit. It won’t go far

When Wok N’ Roll got a chance to go brick-and-mortar in downtown Boise’s Warehouse Food Hall, owner Jessica Senet was “ecstatic” to share the news, she wrote on the food trailer’s website, explaining that “we are taking our business to the next level.”

Three years after the Warehouse upgrade, it’s time to wok even harder.

Senet plans to exit the food hall later this year and open a full-blown restaurant. Wok N’ Roll has subleased 2,274 square feet.

With its own space and even a little outdoor seating, the creative Asian fusion concept has the potential to grow its success. But it won’t go far. Well, not physically.

Conveniently for regulars, Wok N’ Roll is moving right across the street.

The planned new restaurant is at 345 S. 8th St., next door to Five Guys. Previously, the spot was home to Clucks Nashville Hot Chicken and, before that, Meraki Greek Street Food.

Wok N’ Roll was one of the original vendors at the Warehouse when it opened in summer 2022. Combining Thai and other Asian cuisines (plus a Mexican twist), it serves a fun menu focused on signature and build-your-own bowls, tacos (including “phacos,” which are pho tacos) and more.

Wok N’ Roll will keep serving at the Warehouse for the foreseeable future. But the plan is to close there within months and launch the new spot.

“The timeline is still not set in stone,” Senet said in a message, “but we will be transitioning from the Warehouse to the new space by the end of the year.”

Ever hard of a “phaco”? It’s a pho taco. You can get them at Wok N’ Roll.
