With free food, California restaurant chain to celebrate Idaho debut in Meridian

A tasty, health-driven brand will make its Idaho debut in Meridian this week.

Southern California-based Everbowl, a “craft superfood chain known for its customizable, made-from-scratch açaí bowls and smoothies,” opened Thursday for a free-food preview at 4752 N. Linder St., Suite 100, according to a media release. The locally owned franchise restaurant was giving away bowls to the first 300 customers from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

An official grand opening follows Friday. Daily hours at the store — near the intersection of McMillan Road — will be 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Using “fresh, nutrient-dense ingredients,” Everbowl’s menu items are customizable — such as the Build Your Own bowl, where orders begin with a base of açaí, pitaya, matcha or Blue Majik, then get topped with fruits, granola and drizzles.

Among the other choices, the release says:

Everbowl Bowl: The signature creation with açaí, granola, blueberries, strawberries and banana, topped with a flourish of peanut butter.

Everbowl “is an elevated fast-casual destination, rooted in wellness through nutritious superfood-based açaí bowls and smoothies,” a media release says.

Hoku Bowl: A tropical blend of açaí, coconut, banana, and pineapple, topped with honey, cacao nibs and coconut flakes.

Evergreen Smoothie: Made with Everbowl’s signature Blue Majik and Coco Love bases and blended with mango, pineapple, spinach and apple juice.

PB Cacoa Dream Smoothie: Served with a Cacao Wow base and blended with bananas, cacao nibs, peanut butter and almond milk.

Founded in 2016, Everbowl (stylized as “everbowl”) describes itself as an “elevated fast-casual destination.” The brand operates nearly 100 locations nationwide and is expanding rapidly, according to the release.
