‘Authentic’ yet ‘modern,’ new Boise restaurant opens — ‘where every bite invites you back’
A new Middle Eastern restaurant is dishing up Mediterranean flavors on the Boise Bench.
Rizzo, 1003 S. Vista Ave., recently fired up its kitchen. The local newcomer — which took over a former Little Caesars pizza spot — plans to celebrate its grand opening Friday.
Rizzo offers “authentic cuisine with a modern twist,” it promises on Google. “... Our slogan, ‘Where every bite invites you back,’ embodies our commitment to creating unforgettable dining experiences that keep you coming back for more.”
The small restaurant includes seated dining but feels tailor-made for takeout, too. Rizzo is already set up for online ordering with Seamless, a food-delivery service operated by Grubhub.
Peruse the Rizzo menu and you’ll find a variety of affordable, fast-casual options ranging from baba ganoush, french fries and tabbouleh salad to shawarma (including sandwiches), tikka, falafel and Rizzo spaghetti.
The new restaurant is open seven days a week from 11 a.m to 10 p.m.
