This popular Idaho restaurant opened its 6th brick-and-mortar — the only one in Boise
An Idaho burrito chain with decades of history has returned to Boise.
KB’s has opened inside downtown’s Warehouse Food Hall, 370 S. 8th St. It marks KB’s sixth brick-and-mortar location. Founded in 1993 in Ketchum — where it still operates — KB’s also has stores in Eagle, Hailey, McCall and Twin Falls. This isn’t KB’s first time in Boise’s BoDo district, either. Years ago, a restaurant was at 405 S. Capitol Blvd.
The new KB’s is in the former Gaston’s Bakery spot inside the food hall.
“The Warehouse is all about adventure and trying new things, which is something that aligns closely with our business,” Santos Serva, owner of KB’s, said in a media release. “We’re excited to be here in the food hall and can’t wait for downtown Boise to give us a try!”
Offering ”Mexican-American” food, according to the release, the KB’s menu consists of fresh, Mission-style burritos (including veggie styles), tacos (regulars love the fish version), enchiladas, quesadillas and salads. KB’s has a Boise Burrito: wild salmon, spinach, green chiles, potatoes, tomato and creamy chipotle. Another popular option? The signature Ketchum Burrito: your choice of meat and beans, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, rice, jalapeño and salsa, with a side of salsa.
KB’s hours are the same as the food hall’s: 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
