This new Meridian chicken restaurant is ‘just so good.’ Now everyone gets a free sandwich

When it comes to newly opened chain restaurants in the Treasure Valley, Dave’s Hot Chicken in Meridian stands out.

Not only is it a high-profile, fast-growing brand, it delivers a tasty product that people love.

They’re gonna love it even more on Tuesday, Oct. 24.

Dave’s, 3450 N. Eagle Road, will give away a slider to “everybody” on Tuesday, Oct. 24, according to a media release. Why? To celebrate the birthday of rapper Drake. He’s an investor in the franchise chain.

All you have to do is download the Dave’s app, scan it at the register to check in and claim your spicy prize.

The offer is good from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and valid in-store or at the drive-thru only. One per customer.

This is a solid promotion. A single slider normally costs $6.69. Purchase some fries or a tender, too, and you’re gonna leave fat and happy.

(My only selfish concern: Am I really gonna have to drive my 13-year-old from our home in Boise to Meridian for this? He freakin’ loves Dave’s. Sounds like a trip for Nana!)

The locally owned Dave’s has earned over 1,000 Google reviews after opening less than a year go. It rates an impressive 4.6 out of 5.0 stars.

“It was just so good,” a reviewer explained this month after awarding the restaurant 5 stars across the board. “I’ll be back for more.”

Sounds like a plan — on Drake’s birthday.
