Whoa. Downtown Boise’s new ‘finest dining’ restaurant to slash prices 50% entire weekend
Dying to give downtown Boise’s newest high-end restaurant a shot, but hesitant about paying the piper?
Bang — time to pull the trigger.
Stardust, which opened in March, plans to host a heavily discounted “grand unveiling” four months later.
The restaurant at 1002 W. Main St. will offer half off its menu for three days: July 14-July 16.
The special doesn’t apply to bar menus, but who’s complaining? The deal on upscale cuisine is too killer for quibbling.
Diners can sit in the stylish restaurant, or outside on the patio, and enjoy a whopping 50% price break.
That’s half off a Croque Madame (normally $19) or Steak & Eggs (normally $29) for brunch.
Half off a Cobb Salad (normally $21), Stardust Burger (normally $20) or Lobster Roll (normally $29) for lunch. (Come on, a lobstah roll for under $15? That’s flat-out painful to pass up.)
Or go full-on hedonistic. Sit down for a high-end dinner. Order a first course of Cheese Souffle (normally $15), maybe a second of French Onion Soup (normally $11) and then a main course of Duck Confit (normally $35), Beef Wellington (normally $50) or Kansas City Strip (normally $69 — and, yes, foie gras can be added for a bit extra).
Intrigued? Ecstatic? Offended by foie gras? Whatever the case, check out the full menu on the restaurant’s website. You’ll also be able to peruse Stardust’s signature cocktail selection. Why not try that full-price Big Bang ($14) with Smirnoff, St-Germain and Electricdust? You’ve already saved so much cold, hard cash, right?
Calling itself “Boise’s finest dining experience,” Stardust certainly isn’t shy. It waved goodbye to the longtime Asiago’s Italian restaurant and created a new identity for the space.
“Stardust has taken the glamorous mid-century modern theme from our interior design right into our kitchen,” it proclaims on its website. “... Our menu is exquisite, evolving, and truly one of a kind in Boise.”
For price-prudent diners, July 14-16 would be the window to find out.
Stardust is open for brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, happy hour from 2 to 6 p.m. daily, and for dinner from 4 to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, 4 to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
Reservations can be made at stardustboise.com or by calling (208) 514-2232.
