Last call for Louie’s seafood
Put salmon on the holiday menu this year. Louie’s Wild Alaskan Seafood will be wrapping up its season of selling in the Boise area on Saturday, Dec. 2.
The seasonal business, owned and operated by Alaskan fisherman Louie Holst and his family, sells a lineup of troll-caught, blast frozen seafood that’s sold in vacuum-sealed packages. This year, it’s set up in the City Hope Church parking lot, at 8650 W. Fairview Ave. near Siam Orchid Thai Restaurant.
At this point, Holst has sold out of halibut, rockfish, coonstripe shrimp and octopus, but he has plenty of salmon (king, silver and pink), lingcod and spot prawns.
The shop is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit wildakseafood.com or call 907-738-2391.
