This global festival ‘fixture’ will headline next summer’s Boise Music Festival
Summer concert season is half a year away, but that isn’t preventing Idaho’s largest single-day festival from sparking excitement.
Boise Music Festival just revealed its lineup. The annual event — returning to Expo Idaho on June 27, 2026 — will be headlined by multiplatinum DJ-producer Marshmello, “bringing global star power to Boise Music Festival,” according to a press release, “and marking what organizers believe may be the most high-energy artist to perform in the event’s history.
“One of the most recognizable names in modern music, Marshmello (spans) across several musical genres with hits and high-energy live shows (that) have made him a fixture at major festivals worldwide.”
The rest of the Boise Music Festival lineup includes Jamaican singer-rapper Sean Paul, rock bands Eve 6 and Everclear, and pop duo MKTO.
For EDM fans, Marshmello is a huge draw. Known for his identity-hiding, marshmallow-shaped helmet, Marshmello has landed mainstream and dance hits with multiple artists over the years. And he continues to pursue that business model.
“To kick off 2025, Marshmello released ‘Slow Motion’ with The Jonas Brothers, a fan-favorite that has already surpassed 50M global Spotify streams and led to a series of high-energy stadium performances alongside the trio,” according to a recent press release. “Throughout the year, he continues to impress fans with his genre-fluid versatility, teaming up with Ellie Goulding and AVAION for the emotive dance track ‘Save My Love,’ while also venturing into the country-EDM space with Jelly Roll on ‘Holy Water’ and rising artist Hudson Westbrook on ‘Better Man Than Me.’”
In early December, Marshmello released his latest track, “Kissin My Friends,” with dance-pop singer INJI.
Tickets to Boise Music Festival become available Wednesday starting at $39.99. For more information, visit BoiseMusicFestival.com.
