Longtime pizzeria building to open as Boise restaurant ‘winging’ it, Asian-style

A Boise restaurant space with a history topped in pepperoni is set to reinvent itself early next year.

Tov Curry and Wing, a new Asian concept, has leased a familiar pizzeria building at 2450 S. Vista Ave. in Boise.

The 2,400-square-foot space originally was constructed as a Pizza Hut, according to real estate agent Chris Novak of KW Commercial. For the past seven years, it was Spitfire Craft Pizza & Pints. That local brand closed in August.

Tov (stylized uppercase as “TOV”) will serve what its name suggests, Novak said: curry dishes and Korean-style chicken wings.

Offering seated dining and takeout, Tov Curry and Wing will be a “homespun mom-and-pop” restaurant, Novak said. “Husband and wife.”

Tov Curry and Wing is targeting a February opening, he added.
