Selling out arenas and amphitheaters, this band is ‘on fire right now.’ It’s Boise’s turn

A country-rock band on the rise will return to the Boise area this summer.

Treaty Oak Revival has been booked for an outdoor concert Friday, July 18, at Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater in Nampa. Gates will open at 7 p.m.; music starts at 8 p.m. Special guests are planned.

Formed in 2019 in Odessa, Texas, Treaty Oak Revival has been “exploding lately,” said Creston Thornton, president of promoter Live Nation’s mountain region.

The group sold out the intimate Olympic Venue in its Boise debut last March, then returned to sell out the 1,000-capacity Knitting Factory in August. “They blew it out instantly,” Thornton said. “Tickets were going for over $250 on the secondary market.”

Now Treaty Oak Revival is selling out arenas and amphitheaters, he said. This year, shows are averaging about 7,000 concertgoers per night — “and growing,” he added.

“This band is on fire right now,” Thornton said.

Tickets to the Nampa show become available to the general public staring at 10 a.m. Friday for $39.50 to $79.50 through fordidahocenter.com. Live Nation and Idaho Center presales begin at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Treaty Oak Revival has “crafted a unique sound that defies easy categorization,” according to a press release. “Blending the rich traditions of Texas Red Dirt country with influences from punk and Southern rock, Treaty Oak Revival delivers a raw, refreshingly unpolished vibe. They draw inspiration from their roots and often incorporate storytelling into their songs. The band has gained recognition for their heartfelt lyrics and engaging live performances, capturing the essence of Texas music culture.“

Treaty Oak Revival is the 23rd concert announced at Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater this year by Live Nation.
