Without a ‘miracle,’ this Boise brewery will close all operations. It expanded in 2022

Shortly after Clairvoyant Brewing Co. opened in 2017, it grew into a well-known neighborhood hangout.

Along with beer, good times kept flowing at 2800 W. Idaho St. In 2022, Clairvoyant opened a second location, taking over the former County Line Brewing Co. in Garden City.

But fortunes can change as quickly as tap handles.

The expansion at 9115 W. Chinden Blvd. — “Clairvoyant West” — shuttered in October 2024.

And without a “miracle,” co-owner Ryan Kowalczyk said in a message, the original Clairvoyant in Boise will close permanently, too.

“It is with a heavy heart to announce that our passionate business venture is finally coming to an end,” the brewery posted Tuesday on Facebook.

The last day is set for March 31.

Clairvoyant Brewing was “much appreciated for many years by the surrounding neighborhood,” the brewery wrote. “Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to keep the dream alive.”

Kowalczyk and co-owner Mike Edmondson “never took a dime from the brewery,” the goodbye statement said, calling it “a passion project. A love for beer and community.

“If you were a part of Clairvoyant and got to enjoy all that it offered, we appreciate your support. Come in and say goodbye.”

In the meantime, the brewery is for sale. Interested parties are encouraged to call (208) 890-1247 or (208) 571-4812.

”We enjoyed it while it lasted,” Clairvoyant posted. “You never can see what the future holds.”
