This band sold out a 4,000-capacity Boise concert venue months in advance. It’s back
Did you get shut out of last year’s Avett Brothers concert?
Or just want to see them again?
The popular folk-rock band will return to Outlaw Field in Boise for another show this summer. The Avetts have been booked to headline Tuesday, July 18, at the Idaho Botanical Garden’s outdoor venue.
General-admission tickets become available to the public starting at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 24, at Ticketmaster for $69.50. Garden members will pay $64.50 beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22.
This concert will be “an evening with” the Avett Brothers; no opening act is planned.
The Avett Brothers’ performance last year, also in July, was sold out months in advance. Outlaw Field holds 4,000 fans.
Founded by brothers Scott and Seth Avett in North Carolina, the Avett Brothers released their first full-length album in 2002. The group has been nominated three times for Grammy Awards.
The Avetts are the second show revealed at Outlaw Field this summer. Classic-rock band Chicago also is on the schedule for Sunday, Sept. 3.
Things are even busier at the Treasure Valley’s other major outdoor venue, Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater in Nampa. So far, nine concerts have been announced there.
