A popular Boise fish market has closed temporarily because of COVID-19.

Reel Foods, 1118 S. Vista Ave., announced the decision Thursday on social media.

“We regret to inform you that one of our team has tested positive for COVID,” Reel Foods posted on its Facebook page. “There has been exposure among the rest of the team, which leaves us no choice but to close for a 10-day period for the health of our staff and patrons.”

Reel Foods, which is Boise’s only full-time fish market, plans to reopen Oct. 18.
