Centennial High’s Jackson commits to UC Davis men’s basketball
Patriots senior wing Delveion Jackson committed to a full-ride scholarship from UC Davis on Saturday while on an official visit to the Big West Conference school outside of Sacramento, Calif.
The 6-5 Jackson earned second-team 5A All-Idaho honors last season after averaging 10.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals to lead Centennial to a 21-6 record and the 5A state tournament.
He is the second Treasure Valley high school boys basketball player to commit to a Division I scholarship since Borah’s Isaiah Wright signed with Utah in 2014. Wright has since transferred to San Diego.
This summer, senior center Kolby Lee of Rocky Mountain committed to BYU.
