Construction closes more downtown roads near St. Luke’s

Ongoing construction will close more roads around St. Luke’s in downtown Boise through mid-October.

Crews are reportedly working to finish work on storm sewers, intersection construction and water main installation.

Most notably, Jefferson Street will be closed between Avenue B and Avenue C, and Jefferson Street between 1st Street and Avenue B will be used for business-access only.

The following roads will have closures or detours due to construction:

  • Monday-Sunday: West Fort Street will be closed between State Street and Robbins Road. Access to the Elk’s Rehabilitation Hospital will continue on Robbins Road.
  • Oct. 2 – Oct. 14: Avenue B/E. Fort Street will be closed between Warm Springs and First avenues. A business access will be open between Warm Springs and Bannock Street to allow access to St. Luke’s. There will be emergency vehicle access between Bannock and Jefferson streets.
