Michael Sean Crist was the motorcyclist killed Wednesday in a collision with an SUV on the South Federal Way and Broadway Avenue off-ramp, according to the Ada County Coroner’s Office.

The 49-year-old Boise man died from blunt force trauma, the coroner said.

The crash happened at 5:47 a.m.

The driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

In addition, a pickup truck was hit in the aftermath of the initial crash, according to Boise Police Department spokesman Ryan Larrondo. Larrondo said the driver of that vehicle was not injured, and it was not immediately clear whether the truck was hit by the SUV or the motorcycle.

The crash is still under investigation.
