Dive team pulls teen from Quinn’s Pond
The Boise Fire Department’s dive team was dispatched to Quinn’s Pond on Friday evening when a male teenager went underwater while swimming with his friends. Officials said responders were called at 7:05 p.m. and the dive team located the teen in the water 23 minutes after being dispatched. Paramedics treated the teenager at the scene and took him to a hospital.
The teen was not wearing a life preserver, according to the Boise Fire Department.
The teen’s status was not immediately clear Friday night.
