Twin Falls’ Brown 12th in first Olympic men’s shooting event
Will Brown (Twin Falls High) placed 12th during Saturday’s qualifying round of the men’s 10-meter air pistol competition at the Olympic Games, missing the final by three points in his Olympic debut.
Brown, 24, was the top American in the 46-man field with 577 points. The cut for the eight-man final, won by Vietnam’s Hoang Xuan Vinh, was 580.
Brown will continue his Olympic competition in the 50-meter free pistol Wednesday.
