Mountain View’s Buss projected to start for Montana football
The Missoulian newspaper listed Josh Buss as a starting outside linebacker in its projected depth chart Monday after the conclusion of Montana’s spring practices. The depth chart is based on the paper’s reporting, not an official depth chart from the school.
The redshirt sophomore made 18 tackles as a reserve last season. Montana lost all three starting linebackers from 2015 to graduation.
The 6-2, 203-pound Buss was the 2013 5A All-Idaho Player of the Year as a running back, running for 1,939 yards and 25 TDs for the Mavericks.
The paper also listed former Capital quarterback Makena Simis as Montana’s fourth H-back.
