OFFENSE

Wyatt Williams, Gooding, QB

The 6-foot, 175-pound senior’s numbers say it all: 1,219 rushing yards, 3,076 passing yards for a total of 4,395 yards and 52 touchdowns. “The ultimate competitor,” Gooding coach Cameron Andersen said.

Derek Ostermiller, Sugar-Salem, RB

The Mountain Rivers Conference Player of the Year averaged 23 carries per game, amassing 2,074 yards and 25 TDs for an average of 8.4 yards per carry. The 6-0, 205-pound senior also had two touchdown catches.

Kennon Smith, Fruitland, RB

An All-Idaho second-team selection in 2014, the 5-11, 185-pound senior finished with 1,182 rushing yards and 14 TDs on 98 carries without a fumble. Smith added 117 receiving yards and two more scores.

Connor Carter, Homedale, WR

Despite being a two-way starter, the 6-3, 185-pound senior never seemed to tire, hauling in 80 receptions for 1,032 yards and 12 touchdowns. “Tremendous player,” Homedale coach Matt Holtry said.

Luc Overton, Emmett, WR

The leading receiver for the state champions with 855 yards and 13 TDs, the 6-1, 185-pound junior is known for his big-play potential. Overton’s longest reception of the season was 82 yards.

Bryson Comstock, Gooding, WR

Behind the 6-1, 235-pound left guard, the state champion Huskies averaged 277.1 rushing yards per game. “We could always count on him to make his block,” Emmett coach Mike Schroeder said.

Porter Thomas, Snake River, OL

An All-Idaho first-team pick for the second year in a row, the 6-4, 270-pounder is known to overpower opponents. “Whenever we needed a big play, we would go behind Porter,” Snake River coach Jeff Dalley said.

Caleb Cureton, Sugar-Salem, OL

Named a first-team lineman in the Mountain Rivers Conference after helping the Diggers amass 3,471 rushing yards and 40 TDs. “A great leader,” Sugar coach Tyler Richins said of the 5-9, 175-pound senior.
