FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jack Brant, Timberline: Completed 10-of-19 passes for 195 yards and five touchdowns as the Wolves set a single-game scoring record in a 61-7 win over Borah.
Elliot Schrack, Capital: Hauled in five catches for 156 yards and two touchdowns in a 43-28 victory against Boise. He also returned a kickoff for 75 yards.
Rasean Jones, Rocky Mountain: Returned a kickoff 93 yards for a touchdown and added 44 receiving yards to finish with 153 all-purpose yards in his debut for the Grizzlies. He also made four tackles on defense and grabbed an interception in a 39-37 win over Orem, Utah.
Bowen Blackburn, Eagle: Only needed seven carries to run for 103 yards and a touchdown in a 39-14 win vs. Meridian. He also made two tackles on defense.
Jake Perez, Middleton: Ran for 182 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries in a 42-19 win over Nampa. He also caught three passes for 35 yards.
Corbin Hedgecoth, Mountain View: Intercepted three passes, deflected another and made seven tackles in a 10-7 overtime loss to Farmington, Utah.
Ben Avella, Bishop Kelly: Completed 11-of-13 passes for 266 yards and six touchdowns — all in the first half — in a 50-10 win over Bonneville. He also ran for 30 yards and converted a pair of two-point conversions.
Zaden Poudrier, Skyview: Grabbed three interceptions to lead the Hawks to a 24-14 upset win at Pocatello.
Gunner Newman, McCall-Donnelly: Racked up 432 total yards and four touchdowns in a 32-17 win over Wood River. He went 18-for-26 for 267 yards and two TDs through the air. He also ran for 126 yards and a score, and caught a 39-yard touchdown pass.
Titus Vidlak, Fruitland: Completed 15-of-20 passes for 214 yards and a touchdown, adding 33 yards and another score on the ground in a 28-20 win at Emmett.
Lakota Innes, Horseshoe Bend: Ran for four touchdowns to lead the Mustangs to a 36-24 win over Wilder.
Tyler Rowland, Garden Valley: Turned seven offensive touches into 95 yards and three touchdowns in a come-from-behind, 34-14 win over Notus.
