Idaho high school football rankings: 6A gets new pecking order and a new No. 1 team

A marquee weekend for Idaho’s top 6A football teams led to a shakeup of the state rankings in the latest high school football media poll released Tuesday.

Rocky Mountain (2-0) took over the top spot for the first time this season after a mercy-rule win over Chiawana, Washington. Highland jumped up to No. 2, while former No. 1 Coeur d’Alene fell to No. 4 following a 13-6 loss on the road to Lewiston.
