3A All-Idaho football team: The best of the best from a loaded classification

3A ALL-IDAHO PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Carson Harris, Sugar-Salem
A two-way starter at running back and linebacker, the 5-7, 190-pound senior totaled 1,476 rushing yards and 22 TDs. He also had 64 tackles, nine tackles for loss, two interceptions and a fumble recovery on defense.
“(He is) incredibly tough to bring down in the run game,” Fruitland coach Jordan Gross said. “Explosive through the hole and good top-end speed. Violent and athletic as a linebacker. A real menace for both O and D coordinators.”
COACH OF THE YEAR
Tyler Richins, Sugar-Salem
He’s won five titles in the past six years with the Diggers, tying him with his father for the fifth most in IHSAA history.
FIRST TEAM
OFFENSE
QB: Dillon Fine, Homedale
The Utah baseball signee threw for 2,193 yards and 33 TDs with just one interception. He also rushed for 755 yards and 10 TDs.
RB: Jack Joyce, Teton
Led Teton to a state runner-up finish with 1,496 rushing yards and 13 TDs, plus 93 receiving yards and two more scores.
RB: Kaleb Grove, Weiser
The 5-11, 200-pound senior ran for 895 yards and 14 touchdowns on 149 carries for the state semifinalists.
WR: Thomas Heuseveldt, Teton
A two-time Mountain Rivers Conference Player of the Year, Heuseveldt hauled in 102 catches for 1,634 yards and 16 TDs.
WR: Brock Spencer, Weiser
The Snake River Valley Offensive Player of the Year collected 34 receptions for 740 yards and 10 touchdowns.
TE: Ty Brown, Teton
A matchup nightmare at 6-5 and 210 pounds, the senior grabbed 61 receptions for 1,016 yards and 11 touchdowns.
OL: Braden Phillips, Weiser
The two-way starter made 32 pancake blocks while clearing the way for Weiser’s 2,270 rushing yards and 1,400 passing yards.
OL: Caden Dalling, Sugar-Salem
The 6-3, 290-pound senior helped the state champions amass 3,089 rushing yards and 1,636 passing yards.
OL: Brodie White, Homedale
A first-team pick for the second year in a row, the 5-10, 240-pound senior helped the Trojans collect 4,843 total yards.
OL: Ryan Bingham, Sugar-Salem
Voted to the first team on both sides of the ball, the 6-3, 220-pound senior guard cleared holes for the Diggers’ potent rushing attack.
OL: Emario Cuellar, Homedale
A three-year starter, the 5-11, 275-pound senior helped the Trojans produce 2,536 rushing yards and 2,307 passing yards.
K: Conrad Foster, Wood River
The 5-11, 185-pound senior made 4-of-6 field goals, including a long of 44 yards, and was a perfect 17-for-17 on PATs.
DEFENSE
DL: Ryan Bingham, Sugar-Salem
The Mountain Rivers Conference Defensive Player of the Year racked up 55 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles.
DL: Jake Allen, Teton
The 6-4, 265-pound senior recorded 56 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
DL: Kaiden Villaro, Buhl
The 6-3, 210-pound senior collected 78 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
LB: Brock Walker, Homedale
The 6-2, 185-pound junior cleaned up at middle linebacker with 75 tackles, four tackles for loss and two interceptions.
LB: Michael Goff, Kimberly
With 166 tackles, the 6-0, 200-pound senior was a menace. He added four forced fumbles and two interceptions.
LB: Kaleb Grove, Weiser
A two-way first-team pick, the senior racked up 91 tackles, 19 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles and an interception.
LB: Tyler Mathews, Snake River
A three-year starter, the 6-1, 210-pound senior amassed 132 tackles, including five tackles for loss.
DB: Luke Henry, Homedale
In 11 games for the state semifinalists, the 5-10, 165-pound junior safety totaled 31 tackles and three interceptions.
DB: Cooper Lenz, Timberlake
The Intermountain League MVP contributed 78 tackles, four tackles for loss, one forced fumble and four interceptions.
DB: Joker Joyce, Teton
The 6-1, 180-pound sophomore recorded 86 tackles, one forced fumble, three interceptions and 12 pass breakups.
DB: Coye Coffman, Fruitland
While playing everything from corner to WR to QB, the junior made 29 tackles with three picks and five pass breakups.
P: Dawson McInelly, Sugar-Salem
The 6-1, 190-pound junior averaged 43.9 yards per punt for the state champions, including a long of 62 yards.
