FOOTBALL

Zeke Martinez, Meridian: Went 21-for-25 for 241 yards and two TDs, and ran for 25 yards and the go-ahead touchdown in a 24-23 win over Mountain View in the 5A state quarterfinals.

Peter Minnaert, Bishop Kelly: Turned a season-high 22 carries into 175 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-7 win against Emmett in the 4A state quarterfinals.

Makeo Sneddon, Eagle: Only needed three catches to produce 98 yards and a touchdown in a 17-14 win over Rigby in the 5A state quarterfinals.

Jayden Walker, Weiser: Ran for 155 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries in the Wolverines’ 35-32 win over Kimberly in the 3A state quarterfinals.

Rylan Frank, Melba: Ran for 109 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in a 37-21 win at Nampa Christian in the 2A state quarterfinals. He also had an interception on defense.
