Five TDs in one game? That’s worth a game ball. See who else stood out in Week 2

Two weeks of the high school football season are in the books, and the 5A and 4A Southern Idaho Conferences are both making their presence felt throughout the state.

That’s thanks in no small part to a handful of standout performances early in the season. Below are some of the top performers from Week 2.

The senior was all over the field for the Falcons in a 49-7 win over Nampa, racking up five touchdowns. He caught five passes for 170 yards and four TDs, added 86 yards and a TD on six carries and also recorded an interception on defense.

John T’ia, Rocky Mountain

The senior returned a punt 68 yards to the end zone to break a 21-21 tie with Capital with 56 seconds remaining in a matchup between the No. 1 (Rocky Mountain) and No. 5 (Capital) teams in the state.
