BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Nate Grosvenor, Fruitland: Averaged a double-double in three wins, recording 23 points and 10 rebounds against Buhl, 19 points and 12 rebounds against New Plymouth, and 20 points and 12 rebounds against Parma.

Logan Ellis, North Star Charter: Racked up a school-record 43 points in the Huskies’ 72-62 win over Liberty Charter, going 16-for-18 from the floor and 10-for-13 at the free-throw line while also adding nine rebounds.

Harrison Bell, Boise: Led the Brave to a 62-58 win over Eagle in 6A SIC play with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds.

Cooper Patterson, Mountain View: Recorded a triple-double of 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists in the Mavericks’ 84-80 win over Capital.

Quincey Clay, Capital: Made 20-of-42 from the field, including 7-of-15 from 3-point range, for 51 points, to go along with five rebounds, in a loss to Mountain View.

Jonny Lungu, Notus: Helped the Pirates take down Gem State 71-43 with 28 points, five rebounds and two assists.

Tye Cornwall, Middleton: Led the Vikings to a 71-44 victory over Columbia with 25 points, 12 rebounds, three steals, two assists and one blocked shot.

Michael Ocampo, Payette: Totaled 27 points, 14 rebounds, four steals, two blocked shots and one assist in a 58-53 nonconference loss to Marsing.

Collin Morris, Timberline: Connected on 10-of-17 from the floor, including 6-of-10 from 3-point range, for 34 points with six rebounds and one steal in a 64-44 win over Borah.

Xander Wilson, Vallivue: Led the Falcons to a 70-47 win over Nampa in 5A SIC action with 17 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, three steals and one blocked shot.

Nathan Compas, Parma: Dropped 32 points with five steals, four rebounds and one blocked shot in a loss to Fruitland in nonconference action.

Sam Scott, McCall-Donnelly: Tallied a team-leading 31 points as the Vandals fell 66-59 to Kendrick in nonconference play.
