Idaho boys basketball rankings: Meridian, Teton and Valley are this week’s rising teams

Meridian made its season debut in the latest Idaho boys basketball state media poll released Wednesday.

The Warriors, who have won eight in a row, debuted in a tie for fifth in the updated 6A state rankings. But they weren’t the only major shaker this week.

Valley took over the top spot in 2A after spending all season ranked No. 2. The undefeated Vikings leapfrogged Kamiah, which lost its first game to Logos on Friday.
