BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Carson Huegerich, Timberline: Scored 19 points on 9-for-10 shooting while adding four rebounds and five assists in a 63-41 win over Kuna.

Logan Haustveit, Owyhee: Posted 18 points, six rebounds, two assists and four steals in a 58-45 victory at Ridgevue.

Quincey Clay, Capital: Racked up 23 points and seven rebounds in a 73-54 win over rival Borah. He finished the night 9-for-18 from the floor, including 4-for-8 on 3-pointers.

Mac Savedra, Rocky Mountain: Topped 1,000 career points in a 57-51 win over Boise. He also had 17 points and four assists in a 74-65 win against Mountain View.

Titus Vidlak, Fruitland: Scored 41 points to break a 45-year-old school record in an 80-76 win over Cole Valley Christian. The sophomore also added nine rebounds.

Josh Mizar, Weiser: Recorded a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds in a 58-45 win over Homedale.

Lincoln Mathis, Ambrose: Averaged 26.5 points, 10 rebounds and three steals while sinking 10-of-23 3-pointers (43%) in two games last week, leading the Archers to a two-game lead in the 3A WIC standings.

Owen Hansen, Melba: Poured in 32 points and added five rebounds in a 75-63 win over Marsing.

Madix Miller, Garden Valley: Racked up 29 points, five rebounds, three steals, seven assists and a block in a 73-65 win over West Jefferson. He also sank 8-of-8 free throws.

Blake Shepherd, Salmon River: Averaged 24 points while sinking 11 3-pointers in wins over St. John Bosco and Highland (Craigmont).
