BOYS BASKETBALL

Jackson Rasmussen, Owyhee: Averaged 17.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game to help the Storm win the 5A state championship.

Alex Ko, Timberline: Made the game-winning 3-pointer in overtime in the 5A state semifinals and averaged 13.3 points per game in the Wolves’ run to a runner-up finish.

Tyson Hughes, Ambrose: Led the Archers to a 2A state title by contributing 16.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game.

Rakeem Johnson, Bishop Kelly: Nearly recorded a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds in the Knights’ third-place victory at the 4A state tournament over rival Ridgevue.

Isaiah Holsinger, Cole Valley Christian: Totaled 16 points, three rebounds and three assists in the Chargers’ loss to Ambrose in the 2A state championship game.

Donovan Wiles, Nampa Christian: Scored a team-leading 22 points with four rebounds, two assists and two steals in the Trojans’ win in the 2A state third-place game.

Noah Palomares, Victory Charter: Dropped 27 points, five rebounds and five assists to lead the Vipers to a victory in the 1A Division I state third-place game.

Tyler Thurston, Cascade: Averaged 12.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game to help the Ramblers finish third at the 1A Division II state tournament.
